Above are a couple "baby parts" collages I recently designed for a customer of mine. These collages are best for babies between 2 and 6 months. Customers need to mention their interest in getting a collage like this when they come in for their session that way I can make sure to take enough pictures of all the little body parts during the session.

Mascoutah High School Senior Session at Larissa Photography

I enjoyed working with Travis, a 2009 senior at Mascoutah High School. Travis' relaxed and easy-going personality made him a great photo subject. He even brought in a few ideas for some shots and I had a great time working with him to get what he wanted. Above are just a couple shots from his session. The football shot was one he brought in and I think it turned out pretty well!

Another recent senior portrait session. A 2009 Senior at Freeburg Community High School, Ashley was great to work with! I especially enjoyed the vareity in her session. From pictures with her dogs, to ballroom dancing, and softball, she had all the bases covered!

For the todlers, there's nothing more fun that splashing their bare feet in a pail of water. Little girls love watering the garden flowers and playing in the flowers. And of course, we can't capture the joy of summer without a little ice cream!

Rules and limitations:

Session includes one child. Additional children can be added for only $5 each, plus for each extra child you add you also get a FREE 5x7 ($5 value) as well!

Special $10 price only applies to sessions booked on July 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18. If you can't make it any of these dates, you can still book the session any other day during the summer, however the cost of the session will be $20 and will include everything listed above.

I've spent this last week getting my hands dirty in the yard as I've been preparing for my newest Children's Portrait Special and I'm excited to give you a sneak peek at what you can expect...

In a few weeks, I'll be doing a one-week "Country Garden" themed children's portrait special. This $10 special will include a 20 minute session in our beautiful country garden setting and a FREE 8x10 portrait($8 value!). Plus your child will get to enjoy the yummy edible props such as ice cream or lemonade which are also included with the session at no extra charge. After your session, I'll post all your pictures on my website in a private password protected gallery for you to share with friends an family.

Additional information will be posted here by July 7th at which point I will begin booking appointments. No early booking to be accepted! Limited sessions will be available, so you'll want to check back here often!

Changes to Referral Rewards Program

If you're familiar with my referral rewards program, you'll know that I try to reward my customers with $5 studio credit every time they send a new customer my way. However, because I'm not very good at keeping track of things, I've decided to adjust the way it works so I won't miss any referrals. Here's how the updated system will work:

1) The next time you visit my studio, pick up a few referral coupons, or click on the coupon below and print a few coupons at home.

2) Give the coupon to a friend who may be interested. The coupon not only entitles your friend to $5 studio credit, but it also gives you $5 studio credit as well!

3) When they bring the coupon in on the day of their session, I'll ask them who they got it from. When they tell me they got it from you, I will credit your account with $5!

Not only will these coupon cards give your friends incentive to come to my studio, but they'll also serve as a reminder for me to ask who referred them. This will help ensure that you will be rewarded for the business you send my way every time.

New Look!

We've completely redesigned the website so don't be surprised to find a totally different looking website the next time you get on. We expect the changes to take effect on or before Thursday, June 12th. The new website has even more galleries including a gallery of completed wedding albums, plus details on sessions never before listed such as our new Maternity, Newborn, and Individuals Sections. We're excited to launch this new site and hope you'll enjoy our new look as much as we do.

Prom Portrait Special

With prom just around the corner, I am offering a very special prom portait session for those who want the very best prom portraits. These aren't your typical stand in line and get one shot kind of prom pictures. This is a real session, in which I'll spend 30 minutes with you taking your photos in a variety of scenes and backgrounds. There are two basic types of prom sessions available:

Lovebird Prom Session - $30
I will take 15 gorgeous photos of you and your date and even retouch them at no extra charge! After that, you'll get to choose your favorite photo to receive 2 8x10's, 2 5x7's, and a set of 16 wallets!

Group Prom Session - $40
During this 30 minute session, I will take 20 beautiful photos of you and up to 7 of your friends. We'll be sure to get a few group poses, some of individuals, just the couples, and whatever other poses you want. After the session, everyone in the group will recieve a single 5x7 of their favorite photo. After that, anyone can order any extra pictures they want off the regular price list.

Prom Dress Session - $20
Don't want any couple or group photos? Then this is the session for you. It includes 30 minutes of my time spent photographing you in your prom dress. I will take at least 10 gogreous photos in a variety of scenes here at the studio and will even retouch them at no charge! After the session you will receive a single high quality 4x6 proof of each picture! From there you can order any additional prints off my regular price list.
